L'isola di Vulcano ancora oggi è interessata da fenomeni di vulcanismo, prevalentemente fumarole, più evidenti sul Gran Cratere e in alcuni tratti della Baia di Levante, che rendono le acque terapeutiche e piacevolmente calde anche nei mesi più freddi dell’anno.
La pozza dei fanghi è una calda “piscina vulcanica naturale” alimentata da soffioni vulcanici che portano in superficie acqua, zolfo e metalli con una continua produzione di finissimo fango.
L' "Hotel Baia Levante" che gode di un'invidiabile posizione strategica sull’incantevole Baia di Levante accanto al “salotto di Vulcano”: i fanghi termali, famosi in tutto il mondo per le loro proprietà terapeutiche, e a pochi passi dalla Baia di Ponente, “le Sabbie Nere” di finissima sabbia vulcanica è una struttura in stile mediterraneo circondata da ampi spazi verdi e solarium.
Le camere hanno un terrazzo o un balcone, aria condizionata, TV satellitare, cassaforte, frigobar, asciugacapelli, telefono ed alcune regalano vista mare o vista vulcano.

Vulcano is nowadays affected by volcanic phenomenon, mainly steam, more evident on the Gran Cratere as in some parts of the East Bay. As a consequence, waters acquire therapeutic properties and become nicely warm, even in coldest months (Mud-baths pool and Warm Waters.)
Mud-baths pool is a warm “natural volcanic little lake”, alimented by volcanic springs that bring on the surface water, sulphur and metals, continuously producing fine mud.
The "Hotel Baia Levante" is a Mediterranean style building rounded by wide green spaces and solariums; it is placed on the enchanting East Bay, close to the thermal mud-baths, famous all over the world thanks to their therapeutic properties, near to the West Bay with its fine volcanic black sand.
All rooms have terrace or balcony, air-conditioned, satellite TV, safety box, frigobar, hairdryer, telephone and some with sea view or volcano view. The Rojas hotel offers a plentiful and variegated breakfast served buffet style on the panoramic sea-view terrace, free internet zone and a free parking-place.
